Air Serbia Launches Direct Flights Between Belgrade and Tenerife

Air Serbia has introduced a direct flight route connecting Belgrade and Tenerife, enhancing international tourism to the Canary Islands.

Air Serbia has launched its inaugural direct flight route between Belgrade and Tenerife, offering two weekly flights. This new connection adds to the airline’s seven regular destinations in Spain, aiming to boost international tourism to the Canary Islands.

Flights from Belgrade depart on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while return flights from Tenerife take off on Wednesdays and Sundays. The route utilizes a mixed fleet of Airbus A319, A320, and A220-300 aircraft.

This initiative supports the Canary Islands’ strategy to diversify tourism by attracting visitors from Eastern Europe during less busy summer months. The airline anticipates that Tenerife’s mild climate in autumn and winter will be a key attraction for travelers outside the peak season.

The new route not only connects Serbian residents with the Canary Islands but also leverages Belgrade’s airport hub to facilitate travel to other Southeast European countries. This month, Air Serbia offers a total of 30 weekly flights and 9,000 seats to the Spanish market.

The airline’s national network includes nine weekly flights to Barcelona, six to Madrid, and five to Palma de Mallorca. Additionally, it operates three weekly flights to Málaga and Valencia, two to Alicante, and the newly added two flights to Tenerife.
