BBVA Supports Social Projects in the Canary Islands
BBVA Asset Management has chosen two social projects in the Canary Islands for funding through its BBVA Futuro initiative. These projects aim to enhance employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities and improve care for ALS patients.
BBVA Asset Management has selected two impactful projects in the Canary Islands to receive funding through its BBVA Futuro initiative. The projects, led by Envera and the Francisco Luzón Foundation, will each receive 32,000 euros. Envera’s project focuses on training individuals with intellectual disabilities in gardening and invasive species control, while the Francisco Luzón Foundation aims to enhance care for ALS patients and their families.
The funding will support initiatives that include creating therapeutic candles from plant waste and improving medical equipment and training for ALS care. These efforts are part of BBVA’s broader commitment to supporting social and environmental projects across Spain.
